It's the most wonderful time of the year. Well, not yet... but all the Christmas trees just launched at Lowe's, and some of the really good ones go fast. So you know I had to do my roundup for you.
This is my third year doing this, and it's one of my favorite things to put together every year. This year I teamed up with Lowe's, and I've got something for everybody: budget-friendly trees, the best bang for your buck, and a few of those pie-in-the-sky premium trees.

My favorites
1. Holiday Living Kensington Pine: my best value pick
This is the tree I had in my living room last year, and I absolutely love it. It's not the cheapest tree at Lowe's, but for the price you get the best features and the best-looking tree. That's why it's my best value pick.
$349, 7.5 ft, 56 in wide
2,250 color-changing lights with 9 light functions, including twinkle
2,707 branch tips, lots of them real-touch, so it looks super realistic
No fluffing. You set it up and it's basically ready to go
Pole-to-pole connect, so you're not hunting for plugs
3-year warranty
If you don't have a twinkle tree yet, trust me, you'll fall in love. It's the most magical thing at Christmas. It also comes in 9 ft and 12 ft for taller ceilings, plus a flocked version of the 7.5 ft.
2. Holiday Living Kensington Pine Slim
Same tree, smaller footprint. Last year was the first year I had a tree in my bedroom, and this was it. It was so pretty I didn't put a single ornament on it. No star either. Just a tree collar and done.
$249, 7.5 ft, 42 in wide (vs. 56 in on the full)
1,050 color-changing LED lights, still with 9 functions and twinkle
1,733 branch tips
3-year warranty
Great for apartments, condos, bedrooms, or any tight corner. Heads up: the slim sold out before the full-size last year, and a lot of you were upset. It's the second year for this tree, so I'm hoping there's more stock this time.
3. Holiday Living Lappin Pine Slim: the backup if the Kensington Slim sells out
New this year and exclusive to Lowe's. It's $50 more than the Kensington Slim, but it's a lot fuller.
$299, 7.5 ft, 44 in wide
3,186 branch tips (almost double the Kensington Slim)
700 color-changing lights with twinkle
3-year warranty
I saw this one in person and it caught my eye. I actually like the look of it a little better. But for the price and the extra lights, the Kensington Slim is still my first choice, and the Lappin is my second.
Quick question: when do you start decorating for Christmas? Me, my tree goes up November 1st. I'm literally just waiting to put the Halloween candy away. Tell me in the comments.
Budget-friendly trees
4. Holiday Living Flocked Greensboro Pencil: best bang for your buck
If you want an affordable tree that still looks great, the Greensboro line is my favorite. I got this one for my daughter about 3 years ago, so this will be her third Christmas with it.
$129, 7 ft, flocked pencil shape
300 color-changing lights with 8 functions
885 branch tips
2-year warranty
Eight functions means no twinkle, and that's part of how you save. You'll also need to shape the branches a bit out of the box, but it won't take long. The Greensboro comes in a bunch of versions too: 5 ft, 5 ft flocked, 6.5 ft, pencil or regular.
5. Holiday Living Vintage Pine: the fun retro one
If you want something a little funky, this is new this year and I love it. The lights look like those big multicolored bulbs from the '80s and '90s. The difference? It's LED, so one bulb going out doesn't take the whole tree with it.
$159 for 5 ft (7.5 ft is $299)
200 multicolor vintage-style lights, already on the tree
1,199 branch tips, 38 in wide
On/off only (no twinkle), foot pedal
2-year warranty
So cute in a kid's room, an apartment, or anywhere with a fun eclectic style.

6. Holiday Living Cedar: the see-through look (online only)
I don't have footage of this one because it's online only. I saw it in person at the Lowe's creator event back in February, and it was so on lockdown they wouldn't let us film. (Photo above is from Lowe's.)
$239, 7.5 ft
849 branch tips, so it's sparse on purpose
500 lights in warm white or multicolor, with twinkle
This is that see-through, slightly droopy style where you can see the brown trunk. Personally I like a really full tree, but this look has gotten so popular, and Lowe's did it really, really well. It's also one of the most affordable ways to get a twinkle tree.
7. Holiday Living Windsor (unlit): the bargain way to a twinkle tree
Not into pre-lit trees? This one's for you.
$179, 7.5 ft, unlit
2,879 branch tips, so it's nice and full
10-year warranty (no lights to wear out)
Add whatever lights you want, including twinkle strands. As your taste or the technology changes, you just swap the lights. I like my lights already on the tree, but if you're a put-your-own-lights-on person, this is a beautiful, easy tree for way less than a pre-lit one.

8. Holiday Living Tyler Pine
A more traditional style, a little less than the Kensington.
$299, 7.5 ft, 52 in wide
630 color-changing LED lights, 9 functions, twinkle
1,469 branch tips
3-year warranty
The branches are light green, soft, small and dainty, so they droop just a little. It's more see-through, and you can see the brown trunk inside. Totally different look from the Kensington, which is very full and upright. It also comes in a 7.5 ft slim, and there's a matching wreath and garland if you like your greenery to coordinate.
New this year: a little 4 ft potted Tyler for $90. Same style and lights (multicolor or white). Perfect on an end table or nightstand in a small space, or on your porch.

9. Holiday Living Willow Spruce: the most unique tree this year
If 7.5 ft isn't quite enough but 9 ft is too much, this one comes in 8 ft.
$399, 8 ft, 58 in wide
6,074 branch tips (one of the fullest on this list)
1,000 color-changing lights, 9 functions, twinkle
No-fluff self-shaping branches, pole-to-pole connect
3-year warranty
The Tyler has a little droop. This one has a dramatic downward sweep. It's so whimsical and fairytale-like, like something you'd find in a forest full of woodland creatures. The flocked version comes in 6 ft ($250) and 8 ft ($399, same price as unflocked).
10. GE Brookhaven Fir: built-in timer
My first GE tree on the list.
$399, 7.5 ft, 53 in wide
600 color-changing lights with 11 functions (the most of any tree here), twinkle
3,168 branch tips
Built-in timer, foot pedal, easy-light technology
No remote (a lot of GE trees have one, this one doesn't)
3-year warranty
None of the Holiday Living trees have a timer, so that's a nice bonus. It didn't wow me the way my favorites did, but it's a beautiful tree, and a good option if the others sell out.
11. Tree Classics by Balsam Hill Douglas Fir: if you want a remote
Tree Classics is exclusive to Lowe's, made in partnership with Balsam Hill. All their trees are modeled after real trees, so they're always some of my favorites. This is the most affordable one in the line.
$399, 7.5 ft, 60 in wide
700 color-changing lights, 11 functions, twinkle
2,321 branch tips with some soft-touch branches
Remote, timer and foot pedal
No-fluff setup
2-year warranty
The remote is so nice, especially for a bedroom tree when you're falling asleep and don't want to get up. It looks really realistic and really pretty in person.
High-end trees
These are an investment, but if you have the budget, they are really, really beautiful.
12. Tree Classics by Balsam Hill Snowy Redwood: my favorite flocked tree
Third year in a row, this is my favorite flocked tree at Lowe's. It's the most realistic flocked tree I've ever seen, and once you see it in person you'll get why they keep bringing it back.
$449, 7.5 ft, 52 in wide (slimmer than the Douglas Fir)
750 color-changing LED lights, 11 functions, twinkle
2,745 branch tips
Remote, timer, foot pedal, no-fluff setup
2-year warranty
If you've been thinking about a flocked tree, this is hands-down the one I would get.

13. GE Heritage Estate Pine: for people who love lights
For the past couple of years I've called the GE Madison Fir the crème de la crème of lit trees. When the trees came in this year, I couldn't find it anywhere and kind of freaked out. Turns out it's been redesigned under a new name: the Heritage Estate.
$599, 7.5 ft
2,000 warm white lights, 5 functions, twinkle (white only, no multicolor)
6,257 branch tips. You cannot see through this thing
Remote and timer, no-fluff, pole-to-pole connect
3-year warranty
My friend bought one last year and I helped her set it up. In person, it took my breath away. I know not everyone wants to spend $600 on a tree, and that's totally fine. But if you want a tree that wows people every time they come over, I think it's worth it.
14. Tree Classics by Balsam Hill Grand Fir
The Tree Classics answer to the Heritage Estate, with color-changing lights.
$699, 7.5 ft, 60 in wide
1,500 color-changing lights, twinkle
6,019 branch tips
Remote and timer
2-year warranty
Like the Heritage Estate, it's so full you don't see the wires or the trunk. Just a super realistic, gorgeous tree.
A few bonus finds
Holiday pillows, $17 each. Little peppermints, Santa, a Christmas tree and gingerbread. So cute anywhere around the house. Pillow 1 · Pillow 2 · Pillow 3 · Pillow 4
Tree collars. I got a seagrass one and a woven resin one from Lowe's last year. They look really high-end without the high price, and come in a bunch of sizes. Woven Tree Collar
Life-size Elf on the Shelf, $150. These are 5 ft tall and bendable, and this year there's a girl and a bunch of different skin tones. A pretty penny, but how fun would this be for an Elf family? Elf on a Shelf
Which tree is your favorite?
That's my Lowe's Christmas tree roundup for 2026. If you have questions about any of these, leave a comment. I have lots of opinions and I'll help you find the right tree. And if you end up buying one, tell me which one!
Happy shopping.
